Dvigatel (Russian word for "engine") was a company from St. Petersburg, which manufactured some 1/43rd scale diecast models from 1978 to 1994. The range consisted of a RAF 977 minibus and of a GAZ truck from the 1930s which was released in three different versions: GAZ AA two-axle lorry, GAZ AAA three-axle lorry, and GAZ 60 halftrack. Conversions based on the Dvigatel GAZ AA model were later released by LOMO, another manufacturer based in St. Petersburg.
