The Italian publishing house Fabbri was founded in 1947. It was specialized in distributing partworks about all kind of collectables, which were available at newsagents or by subscription. Model car partworks were introduced around 2003. There were series including American cars (models made by Yat Ming), police cars from all over the world (mostly based on Hongwell Cararama castings), James Bond cars (made by Universal Hobbies and Ixo), Ferrari and Alfa Romeo models (the latter made by Metro). Most series were only sold in Italy, but some of them were also available in other European countries. In 2013, the company became a part of the newly-founded publishing house Centauria.
