Galgo was an Argentinean manufacturer of diecast models in the 1970s and 1980s. The company primarily produced cars in 1/43rd and 1/64th scale, besides the models developped by Galgo themselves there were originally also some copies of Matchbox models in the smaller scale. The major part of the Galgo models are racing cars, including a series of 1/64th scale Formula 1 racers from the late 1970s. Buses in 1/64th scale and trucks in 1/87th scale were also made by Galgo. Production ceased in 1985, but some of the bus models were later re-issued by Buby.
