Guy Chavannes is an experienced model maker and a collector from the region of Lausanne. He is mainly interested in cars of Swiss drivers who started at the 24 hour race in Le Mans. In order to fill the gaps in his collection, he started developping his own range of 1/43rd scale resin handbuilt models. Besides French, British, German and Italian cars, models of Swiss prototypes have also been part of this range called Gcam since 2010: the special-bodied AC Ace Bristol prepared by the Gachnang brothers in Aigle for the race in 1960, as well as several Cheetah racing cars from the 1970s and 1980s. The models feature many photo-etched parts and are available either in kit form or as factory-built models, the latter being limited to 30 to 35 units per issue.
