The French company Ottomobile has manufactured 1/18th scale resin models since 2009. The range mainly consists of sporty versions of French cars from the 1970s to the 1990s, which haven't been modelled in this scale by other manufacturers before. The models are made in China and well detailed, but they don't feature any opening parts. In addition to the 1/18th scale models, various cars in 1/12th scale have also been released. The models are limited to 1000 to 1500 pieces per issue, and officially they are only available at the on-line store on the company's website. In 2015, Ottomobile introduced the more exclusive GT Spirit range and took over the well-established manufacturer Solido.
