RobEddie is the brand name used for a range of 1/43rd scale white metal models of classic Swedish cars, introduced in 1979 by Eddie Andersson, the owner of a model car shop in Stockholm. The first models were made in England by Somerville, but from 1989 on, Brooklin, the leading English manufacturer of white metal model cars, produced the RobEddie models besides its main range of US cars and other ranges such as Lansdowne and U.S. Model Mint. Until its deletion in 2009, about 40 different Volvos and Saabs from 1927 to 1987 were released in the RobEddie range. Afterwards, Brooklin still released a few special edition models based on the existing castings.
