Like in other Latin American countries, simple plastic models have also been made in Guatemala. As an example, a company called Plas-Tikal released a model of the VW Beetle. No indication of the manufacturer can be found on the models of two Itala racing cars from 1906 and 1907, which were made in Guatemala probably in the 1960s or 1970s. These models are copies of products made by the Italian manufacturer Sandri.
