Lithuania

Unlike other countries in Eastern Europe, Lithuania was not known for an automotive industry of its own for a long time - it was only towards the end of the 2010s that an increasing number of supplier companies settled in the country. Most Lithuanian toy manufacturers also concentrated on products other than model cars. Toy cars and trucks in larger scales were made of plastic and tin in the capital Vilnius in the 1970s and 1980s under the Neringa brand name, but without any specified original vehicles. In 2021, OLM Design, a company based in Vilnius, started producing detailed models of plastic trucks in 1/87th scale. As its first models, the manufacturer released 13 versions of the Scania P-series with different bodies and wheel formulas.
