Bevi was the brand name of the Bevilacqua company in Basel, a Swiss importer and manufacturer of model railroads and accessories. In the 1980s, Bevi offered its own range of 1/87th scale plastic road vehicles, which were made in Germany by Herpa. About 30 different vans, trucks and buses in the liveries of Swiss companies were released between 1981 and 1985. Some years earlier, Bevi had already commissioned and distributed 1/50th scale diecast models of Swiss Saurer Trucks made in England by DJH.
