Birlik Oyuncak was founded in Istanbul in 1982 and originally produced plastic toys. In the course of time, the company became one of the leading toy manufacturers and distributors in Turkey. Since the mid-2010s, Birlik Oyuncak has produced inexpensive toy cars made of diecast in 1/32nd to 1/36th scale in China for the Turkish market. The range includes Turkish cars such as Anadol A2, Renault 12 Toros, Tofas Murat 131, Sahin and Kartal, as well as a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter in Turkish emergency versions. These models feature pull-back action, opening parts, and sometimes light and sound effects.
