Walter Brändli from Rüti in the Canton of Zurich manufactured detailed 1/87th scale white metal models, focusing on Swiss buses and trucks from the 1940s and 1950s. The models were introduced between 1978 and 1987 and were sold in kit form in small numbers. In addition to various Saurer and FBW buses, a Saurer S4C truck, and two fire engines from Basel, the range also included a Moser bus trailer, a Pfander luggage trailer and accessories such as a snow plough. The kits could still be ordered from the manufacturer in the beginning of the 21st century. In the meantime, Saurer Modellbau in Zurich has acquired the stocks and also sells built models.
