CarPin Models is a range of handbuilt 1/43rd scale resin model cars, introduced by the Italian company Carrara Models in 2005. Denis Carrara, the founder of the company, had previously worked for renowned model makers Umberto Codolo (manufacturer of Remember and Tokoloshe models) and Valerio Barnini and had taken over some of the material from Barnini’s workshop when the latter retired. Like Barnini's RS Models range, CarPin Models was a comparatively low-priced brand, and the models were only sold ready-made. Production focused on Italian racing cars from the 1960s and 1970s, mostly by Abarth. Carrara Models is still in business today, but more recent models are marketed under the company’s own name.
