Chernomorskaya Igrushka (Russian for "Black Sea toy") was a toy factory located in Odessa, a major seaport on the northwestern shore of the Black Sea. In the early 1970s, the factory made 1/43rd scale plastic models of two contemporary Russian cars: GAZ 24 Volga and Lada 2102. The models were available in various colours, and at least the Lada was also released in a police version. Although the models are rather simple, proportions and engraved details on the bodies are quite accurate.
