Detail Cars was a range of 1/43rd scale diecast models for collectors introduced in 1992. The models were designed in Italy, but manufactured in China. The range originally concentrated on current Italian and English sports cars, but later cars from Germany and the USA were added to the range, and classic cars became more important. The production of the Detail Cars models ceased in 1999 already, but the moulds were taken over by other manufacturers such as Solido or Universal Hobbies, who released re-editions of former Detail Car models in their own ranges.
