The Dutch model car manufacturer and distributor Edocar was in business from 1987 to 2007. The majority of the Edocar models were made in China and weren't developed by the company itself, but were based on products made by other manufacturers, especially Maisto, in the beginning also Yat Ming and later Hartoy. Edocars released quite an extensive range of diecast models in 1/64th scale and smaller, as well as a few models in 1/43rd scale. The company also made a wide range of promotional models, among others for Coca-Cola. Production ceased in 2007 when the parent company, Edor Benelux NL BV, went bankrupt.
