Since the late 1990s, the German company Hümmer has produced inexpensive models in China, which are used as promotional items, mainly by breweries, but also by other companies. The range primarily consists of 1/87th scale model trucks with diecast cabs and plastic parts for the rest of the bodywork, similar to the products offered by competitors such as Grell or Top-Style. However, models of other vehicles and in other scales have also been released by Hümmer in the course of time, e.g. classic three-wheeler vans and light trucks in about 1/43rd scale.
