Probably the only model car manufacturer from the Principality of Andorra was Imit'Toys, based in Sant Julià de Lòria, the southernmost parish of the country. The company, operated by Jean-François Consille, produced handbuilt lead models in the simple style of French Dinky Toys cars from the 1950s, i.e. without window glazing and in most cases without interior detail. From 2001 onwards, several models in about 1/43rd scale were introduced which can't be found in the original Dinky Toys range: Renault 4 CV saloon and Découvrable (convertible saloon), Renault Frégate, Peugeot 203 Coupé and 403 Cabriolet, Citroën 11 BL Coupé and Cabriolet as well as DS Coupé Chapron, Ford Comète (a model announced by Dinky Toys France in 1955, but never issued), Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, MG A. The models come in yellow cardboard boxes also resembling the Dinky Toys boxes. Production ceased in 2013, when a fire in the factory destroyed all the moulds, tools and prototypes.
