Luppa Solutions was founded in Barcelona in 2009 and distributes press and multimedia products, but also home goods, fashion accessories and collectibles. Already in 2010, the company opened branch offices in Lima and New York in order to expand into the Latin American and US Hispanic markets. The first models of a partwork named "Autobuses del Mundo" distributed by Luppa Solutions were released in Peru, Chile and Ecuador from November 2013: The partwork comprised 15 detailed 1/72nd scale models of buses from various countries, made in China by Ixo. Every two weeks a new bus model was delivered to the newsagents. While some of the buses are variations of models already known from European partworks by Atlas, the series also included some South American original buses which had never been available as diecast models before. Also in 2013, a series of 1/43rd scale cars was released for the Colombian market, and in 2016 a series of Jeep versions from all over the world was introduced in Ecuador, Peru and Colombia.
