Microcar Models Australia was founded in 2018 with the aim of producing handbuilt 1/43rd scale models of microcars. The first issue was the Australian microcar Lightburn Zeta as a sedan (Runabout) and as a pick-up, as well as in a rally version from the 1964 Ampol Around Australia Trial. It was followed by models of other microcars from Australia (Goggomobil Carryall by Buckle, Hartnett Pacific) and other countries (Avolette, BSA Ladybird, Bamby Mk1 and Mk2, Dinarg D-200), which had not been made by other manufacturers before. Furthermore, the range includes the Suzuki Mighty Boy, a small pick-up sold in Japan and Australia in the 1980s. As a special variant, the Suzuki serving as Microcar Models Australia's company car was reproduced in 1/43rd scale as well. The models are made of white metal or galvanized copper, they are well detailed and are only produced in very limited quantities. The company cooperates with British manufacturers such as SMTS to produce the white metal models, while the models made of galvanized copper are manufactured in Ukraine.
