Morem was the brand name used by the German company Modellfahrzeuge J. Maier from Ulm. In the early 1990s, the company manufactured a series of handbuilt 1/87th scale white metal models with photo-etched parts. The range focused on German racing cars from the 1930s and 1950s, notably Mercedes-Benz Silver Arrows, but also some racing cars by Auto Union (Type D), BMW (328 Roadster) and Porsche (550 Spyder). Foreign racing cars from the 1950s by Ferrari and Vanwall were also available, as well as the Mercedes-Benz T80 record car from 1939 and the blue Mercedes-Benz racing car transporter from 1954.
