Motormax has manufactured diecast models of cars, motorbikes and airplanes in various scales in China since the late 1990s. The model car range consists of inexpensive, but well detailed 1/18th, 1/24th, 1/43rd, 1/60th, 1/64th and 1/87th scale models, mostly of American cars. Dioramas have also been released. Predecessors of the Motormax products were the diecast models by Zylmex made in Hong Kong and China from the 1970s to the 1990s.
