Nakajima is a Japanese toy manufacturer founded by Koichi Nakajima in Tokyo in 1919. Among other things, the company has produced dolls, plush and plastic figures, and inflatable vinyl toys; its best-known products include the "Hello Kitty" plush toys. During the 1970s, Nakajima released the "Dreamcar" series of diecast model cars in 1/32nd to 1/38th scale. This series consisted of six Italian sports and concept cars: Ferrari Dino Competizione, Pininfarina Modulo, Fiat Abarth 2000 Coupé, Lamborghini Marzal, Alfa Romeo Navajo, and Michelotti Laser. Each model features multiple opening parts and a pull-back motor.
