products from Germany in North America, but some years later it started assembling models from Herpa parts in a factory of its own. The range focuses on 1/87th scale American trucks by Mack, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner and other makes, which are available in many different versions. The Canadian-made models bear both the Promotex and the Herpa trademarks. Promotex also marketed under its own name 1/87th scale diecast models of the Freightliner MT-55 made in China by the American company Crown Premiums
