Rialto Models is a Dutch manufacturer of 1/43rd scale resin handbuilt models. The company was founded by Jan Miedema in Zoetermeer, South Holland, in 1998 and focuses on cars in special versions or with special bodies, of which no 1/43rd scale model has previously been available. The range originally included various contemporary Opel cars, but classic sports cars from the United Kingdom (Jaguar, Bristol, Aston Martin, MG) and Italy (Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Maserati, Ferrari) were later also added to the catalogue, many of them with bodies by famous coachbuilders such as Zagato, Ghia and Bertone. Furthermore, Rialto Models released a model of the DAF 32 Kini, a beach car by Michelotti as used by the Dutch royal family. The models feature white metal parts and photo-etched details and are usually limited to 100 items per issue.
