When the original car was launched in May 2009, Subaru also released some inexpensive 1/46th scale promotional models of the new Subaru Legacy, which are made in China by a company called Seibu. Three versions are available through Subaru dealers: the four-door saloon, the Touring Wagon estate car and the Forester SUV. The models are made of plastic and feature pull-back action, and tinted windows conceal the missing interior, but the body shape is accurately modelled.
