The Silas Models company was founded by Frédéric Cros in Paris in 2011 and has manufactured 1/43rd scale resin models of British cars from the 1950s to 1970s. The range concentrates on everyday cars by makes such as Austin, Triumph, Vauxhall, and the Rootes Group (Hillman, Sunbeam, Singer, Humber). The models are made of resin in China in very limited numbers (only 100 items per colour variation) and feature fine details, including photo-etched window surroundings and windscreen wipers. Frédéric Cros has also produced 1/43rd scale dioramas and, since 2017, resin models of French and Italian cars under the Milena Rose name.
