Technik Museum Sinsheim is a large technology museum in Sinsheim in the state of Baden-Württemberg in Germany. It was founded in 1981 and focuses on all kinds of means of transport. In addition to the two supersonic airliners Concorde and Tupolev Tu-144, an extensive collection of classic cars is among the main attractions. Between 1998 and 2006, the museum constructed the experimental vehicle "Brutus" in the style of a racing car from the 1920s on the basis of historical components, namely an American LaFrance chassis from 1907 and a BMW aircraft engine from World War I. The car is now on display in the museum and can regularly be seen in action at public events. Various promotional items related to Brutus are available at the shops of the technology museums in Sinsheim and Speyer, including a simple static model made of plastic in about 1/34th scale.
