Around the year 2000, the German company Top-Style started producing inexpensive 1/87th scale truck models in China which are used as promotional items, mainly by breweries, but also by other companies. Like the products from competitors such as Grell or Hümmer, the models have got diecast cabs and plastic parts for the rest of the bodywork. So far Top-Style has concentrated on three castings, a Mercedes-Benz Actros, a Renault Premium and a Kenworth W900, all available either with box trailer or tanker. The company also offers plain models with decal sets for customers who want to create their own promotional trucks.
