Tron, based in Loano in the Northern Italian region of Liguria, has produced highly detailed resin and white metal handbuilt modelcars since 1975. Most models are made in 1/43rd scale, but some models in bigger scales have also been released. The company's main interest are current and classic prestigious sports cars, especially Ferraris, and Formula 1 cars from 1960 until the 1980s. The models are available factory-built or in kit form. Tron offers various ranges in different price categories, from the top quality "Tron Star" series with opening parts and detailed engines to the less expensive "Glamour" series.
