White Box is a house brand of the German online shop Model Car World. The diecast models are made by Premium & Collectibles Trading Co. Ltd. (maker of the Ixo models) and have been previously released in different colours or versions in partworks by Altaya, De Agostini, Atlas and others. Since there are no costs for developing new moulds, the models can be sold at comparatively low prices. Since 2008, Model Car World has released a wide range of White Box models, mostly in 1/43rd scale, but some 1/24th scale models have also been added to the range.
