Like other Soviet car manufacturers, the ZAZ factory in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, produced several scale miniatures of their cars in the 1970s and 1980s. They are all made of plastic, and two of them are rather simple and inexpensive models in about 1/36th scale: a ZAZ 966 from 1966 and a ZAZ 968M from 1979. Furthermore, the ZAZ 968 and 968M have also been reproduced in 1/18th scale. These nicely detailed models have a quite accurate body shape, are battery operated and feature working headlights.
