The Hong Kong based company Zee Toys produced inexpensive diecast toy cars, mostly in 1/64th scale, under the name of Zylmex from the late 1960s to the mid-1990s. The first series ("D") consisted of rather crude sports and racing cars. In the late 1970s, the "P" series with better detailed Japanese, European and American cars in about 1/64th scale and commercial vehicles in smaller scales was released, featuring diecast metal chassis, suspension and opening parts. The various model series were also marketed under names such as "Dart Wheels", "Dyna Might", "Dyna Wheels" and "Windracers". In addition to 1/64th scale and smaller models, Zylmex also manufactured cars in 1/43rd scale as well as models of motorbikes, airplanes and military vehicles, After 1995, several Zylmex moulds were taken over by Motormax.
