Matchbox, the biggest model car manufacturer in Britain, released a range of classic cars in 1956: "Models of Yesteryear". The models of this range soon became very popular. At first, mainly commercial vehicles were modelled, but then more and more cars were added to the range. This Daimler was introduced in 1966. It was made in 1/45th scale.
