Me-Mod is a Swiss model car shop located in Hinwil in the Canton of Zurich and run by Erwin Messikommer. The shop offers a wide range of diecast and handbuilt models, as well as resin kits, in 1/43rd scale, but also parts and tools for model makers. In the 1990s, Me-Mod manufactured a series of 1/43rd scale resin handbuilt models under its own name. The range focused on cars by the Toyota group (Toyota and Lexus) and by General Motors (various American cars, Australian Holdens and Brazilian Chevrolets). The models were available in kit form and ready-made. In addition, Me-Mod also produced the Swiss-Mini-43 range of ready-made 1/43rd scale resin models from the mid-1990s to the mid-2000s and released several police cars in the same scale based on diecast models by other manufacturers such as Autoart and Minichamps.
