And, although this is a website about small cars: My favourite means of transport in 1/1st scale is not a car, but the bike and the railway. And I regularly take the buses of our local public transport service. By the way, there are several nice models of these buses.
Since 2004, I have been a member of the club Fanas Minis Autos Fribourgeois (FMAF). This club was founded in 1982 by three model car collectors from the Canton of Fribourg and nowadays counts about 35 members. The club has organized the yearly Model Car Swapmeet in Marly since 1985. This event originally took place in June, but since 2019 it has been held on the first Saturday in October. We meet once a month at Restaurant de la Gérine in Marly and make several excursions each year to swapmeets, museums, exhibitions, fairs, and other events related to model cars and their prototypes.
