BeKa was a German manufacturer of 1/87th scale bus, truck and tramway models. The company was founded in Dresden in 1992 by Bernd Kasten, who had worked as a mould maker for Prefo in the GDR and had already been involved in the production of 1/87th scale models in small series. BeKa was specialized in models of vehicles running in East Germany in the 1950s and 1960s, e.g. Robur Garant and LO trucks as well as IFA and Ikarus buses. The tramway models were available either motorized or as static models. At the end of June 2020, Bernd Kasten gave up the business operations of his company due to age and health reasons.
