The Brooklin company was founded by John Hall in Brooklin (Ontario, Canada) in 1974, but has been based in Bath (England) since 1979. The company has become a leading manufacturer of 1/43rd scale handbuilt white metal modelcars. The Brooklin main range, existing since the 1970s, consists of models of classic American cars, but in the course of time several other series have been introduced, e.g. Lansdowne (British cars), RobEddie (Swedish cars) or U.S. Model Mint. The models are carefully hand-finished, and the production run for a model over a five year period rarely exceeds 3000 units.
