AZU is the abbreviation for Autoteile und -zubehör Vertriebs GmbH (distribution of car parts and accessories), a company based in Dreieich, Germany, which released a 1/43rd scale diecast model of the contemporary Seat Toledo in 1993. The model was never available at model car shops, but only at Seat dealers for a short time. So it remained quite rare, also because another 1/43rd scale model of the Seat Toledo was introduced by the Dutch company AHC soon afterwards and also sold as a promotional model by Seat. Contrarily to the AHC model, the Seat Toledo by AZU doesn't feature any opening parts and is a slightly simpler model, but proportions and imprints are accurate. There is no indication of the production country, neither on the model nor on the package, whose dimensions are identical to the AHC boxes.
