Robert Budig, who has run a model car shop in Berlin since 1982, introduced his own range of handbuilt resin and metal models in 1/43rd scale in the early 1990s. Some of the models are made in Germany by Tin Wizard, others by Ukrainian artisans such as Kimmeria. The range includes cars from the 1950s to the 1970s by Ford, Borgward, Glas and other German car makes, but also some unusual classic cars such as the Amphicar amphibious vehicle, the aerodynamic Rumpler Tropfenwagen, several microcars, off-road vehicles and rare Eastern European cars.
