Centauria was founded in 2013 and is the successor of the Italian publishing house Fabbri. Like Fabbri before, the company publishes partworks about all kind of collectables, including model cars usually made by Ixo. Its most widely distributed partwork series in this field, "Formula 1 Auto Collection", comprises Formula 1 racing cars in 1/43rd scale and was launched in Italy in 2015. Over 200 models appeared in this series in the following six years, and the series was also released in many other countries, including France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, South Africa, Argentina, Australia, and New Zealand. Other partwork series by Centauria include taxis, super sports cars and fire engines in 1/43rd scale, Formula 1 cars in 1/24th scale, mopeds and Vespa scooters in 1/18th scale, and various kits in 1/8th scale.
