First Gear is an American manufacturer of diecast models for collectors. The company was established in 1992 and has its headquarters in Iowa, but the models are made in China. The range focuses on classic and modern American trucks in 1/34th, 1/50th, 1/54th and 1/64th scale, but construction vehicles in 1/50th scale and cars in 1/25th scale are also available. Furthermore, First Gear makes figurines, model airplanes, coin banks, belt buckles, keychains, and other products. In 2018, the company took over its competitor Die-Cast Promotions.
