HAG is a Swiss manufacturer of model railways and was founded by Hubert and Alwin Gahler in St. Gallen in 1944. In 1982, the company moved to Mörschwil, and since 2012, its headquarters have been in Stansstad. In 1994, HAG announced a range called "Auto-Line" including two 1/43rd scale model cars: a Porsche 911 and a Ferrari 288 GTO. While the Porsche never entered serial production, the Ferrari was delivered to model car shops in 1996. It is a heavy diecast model that was available in red, yellow, silver, and black. The models were made for the most part by hand in Switzerland.
