The Chinese company Premium & Collectibles Trading Co. Ltd., maker of the Ixo models, started producing 1/43rd scale diecast models of contemporary Japanese cars under the J-Collection name in 2001. The models are manufactured in straight co-operation with the Japanese car industry and are thus very accurate and detailed copies of the original cars. There are two different ranges: Models of the versions for the domestic market (i.e. with right-hand drive) are sold in Japan, whereas in other countries models of the export versions are available. This export series also includes taxis and emergency vehicles which are in service all over the world. J-Collection also produced some Toyota models for the Tosa series.
