Lagamo is a Dutch manufacturer of 1/43rd scale diecast models. The name is an abbreviation for "Lampegat Modellen". Lampegat ("lamp hole") has been the name of the city of Eindhoven during carnival since the 1960s and refers to the Philips electronics company, which had been founded in the city and initially mainly produced light bulbs. The Lagamo range focuses on the DAF passenger cars, which were also built in Eindhoven from 1958 to 1975. The first model to be released was a 1969 DAF 33 in two colour variants in September 2023, followed by a 1972 DAF 55 Marathon in January 2024. The models are made by Premium & Collectibles Trading Co. Ltd., the manufacturer of the Ixo models and the De Agostini and Altaya partwork series, and are limited to 500 items per variant.
