The Italian toy manufacturer Mondo was established in 1948 and became famous for the production of balls. In 2007 the company introduced the brand name Mondo Motors for a range of inexpensive diecast model cars. The models are manufactured in China and are made in various scales: 1/18th, 1/24th, 1/32nd, 1/43rd, 1/64th. The range mainly consists of contemporary Italian everyday and sports cars, but there are also models of popular classic cars (Fiat 500) and some cars from other countries. The "Security Team" series features a wide range of emergency vehicles, mostly from Italy, but also from Spain.
