Muky was the brand name of an Argentinean range of diecast models in about 1/64th scale, introduced by the Esdeco company in the early 1970s. Most Muky models were copies of early Hot Wheels models, but without interior detail and with a cruder finish. The original range included 30 different models and consisted of American muscle cars, luxury coupés by Cadillac and Lincoln, racing and fantasy cars, a 1968 Plymouth Fury as taxi, police, fire chief and emergency doctor's car, and several trucks all based on the Dodge Deora model by Hot Wheels. In the late 1970s production was moved to Brazil for some years, but then the moulds were taken over by the Induguay company which resumed production at the original site in Gualeguay, Entre Ríos province, Argentina. The last three Muky models, released in the 1980s, were the company's own designs: 1941 Ford Sedan, VW Beetle and Ferrari 308 GTB.
