The NewRay company was founded in Hong Kong in 1987 and manufactures inexpensive diecast models. There is a wide range of products, including cars in 1/24th, 1/32nd and 1/43rd scale, trucks in 1/32rd and 1/43rd scale, motorbikes and scooters in various scales as well as airplanes and helicopters. Radio-controlled racing car models are also made by NewRay. Originally the company mainly modelled classic and modern sports cars, but in the meantime especially the 1/43rd scale car model range also includes many contemporary European everyday cars.
