Renno, a small company from Argentina, manufactured diecast models in about 1/64th scale in the late 1980s. The range consisted of contemporary cars as built in Argentina (Ford Sierra, Peugeot 505, Renault 11 and Fuego, Fiat Regata) and elsewhere (Datsun 240 Z, Morgan Plus 8, Chevrolet Corvette, Porsche 924), as well as some generic sports cars. The models were available in different colours and very simple reproductions of their prototypes, with vague proportions, little detail and a rather crude finish. Production probably ceased in the early 1990s when the Argentinean market was opened and the domestic toy industry could no longer compete with cheap imports from the Far East.
