Tameo is an Italian manufacturer of handbuilt white metal models based in Borgio Verezzi, Savona province. The company was founded in 1983 and has specialized into highly detailed 1/43rd scale models of Formula 1 racing cars. However, several Formula 1 cars in 1/24th and 1/64th scale are also part of the range, as well as Indianapolis racers in 1/43rd scale. Over the years, more than 600 different models have been released. These are usually sold in kit form.
