Weico was an Australian manufacturer of white metal handbuilt models. The company run by Gerry Weight from Melbourne was in business from the 1980s until the 2000s. The main range comprised 1/87th scale models of Australian prototypes from the 1940s to the 1970s. These models are rather simple and similar to Fun Ho! or early Matchbox products. In addition, Weico produced copies of obsolete Australian Micro Models in about 1/43rd scale. Also in 1/43rd scale, the company released more detailed models of classic Australian cars in a range called "Kookaburra": 1961 Holden EK sedan and panel van, and 1964 Ford Falcon XM coupé.
